STEVEN ENGLISHEXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT
Steve English is Executive Vice President of Corporate Development of Island Global Yachting and a Managing Director of Island Capital Group. He has been with the Island Capital family of companies since 2007, having initially joined the firm’s Dubai-based team where he oversaw principal investments for IGY in the Middle East and Europe. Steve has served with Island Capital in various roles, including leading C-III’s Real Estate Owned (REO) Asset Management, Real Estate Sales and Non-Performing Loan Sales business divisions with average assets under management in excess of $2.5 billion per annum.
Previously, he executed acquisitions for the firm’s real estate private equity group. Steve has presided over acquisitions, dispositions and financings totaling over $10 billion during his tenure with the Island Capital family of companies. He commenced his career in management consulting where he focused on corporate strategy and turnarounds.
Steve completed his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in three years at The American University, graduating in 1995 with a double major in Political Science and International Relations. He received a Master of Business Administration jointly from New York University, HEC School of Management Paris and the London School of Economics & Political Science.
